CARE ANYWHERE GRAD TRAINING PROGRAM

Care Anywhereis a 9-credit multidisciplinary graduate training sub-curriculum targeted at students enrolled in any of a range of participating disciplines (engineering, computer science, health sciences, etc.) who are interested in designing, deploying, and using biosensors in a broad range of healthcare applications (such as wearables at home, in primary care clinics or care homes).

The program offers 12-month stipends to master’s and PhD students (or top-ups if they have won major external awards) to support them while taking the Care Anywhere course curriculum. If students choose not to apply through the formal process, they may also be informally part of the program, in which case they have much more flexibility in their involvement. Informal membership does not come with funding for the student, but they are still part of the Care Anywhere network and invited to related events.
